For the second consecutive year, Surfing America-the National Governing Body (NGB) for the sport of
Surfing in the United States-and Hermosa Beach-based Resin Music have teamed up to put forth the Surf
Roots compilation CD. Volume 2 is the newly released follow up to the successful Surf Roots album - which
has redefined "surf music" for the 21st century while raising much needed funds for our USA Surf Team.

Featuring the hottest new tracks of Reggae, Rock and Hip Hop, Surf Roots 2 includes multi-platinum,
Grammy winner Ziggy Marley, So Cal roots rock legends Common Sense, reggae stars Dave Wakeling (English Beat)
& Michael Rose (Black Uhuru), Dub masters Groundation, rising folk phenom Trevor Hall, Hawaiian sensation
Sashamon, with his radio hit song, Necta (Butterfly), and many more.

The CD cover and liner notes are blessed with artwork by Colleen Hanley, Supporting Artist of the USA Surf Team
(www.ColleenHanley.com). The USA Surf Team will compete at the ISA World Surfing Games in Huntington
Beach this October and at the Quiksilver ISA World Junior Surfing Championships in Portugal next May.

The Surf Roots Tour to support the CD is currently hitting clubs, festivals and college campuses in 25 cites
