Sistah Shan, Riki L, Isis, and Kaikua are the featured artists, some of
the best in the field of reggae music.
Song writer/producer Butch Helemano produced this
compilation and contributes
his vocals to six songs. Helemano is an icon in the reggae industry and
has been performing Reggae
for over 25 years. Many of today’s young artists follow standards set
by people like Butch
Helemano. His version of Rock Around the Christmas Tree blends a unique
style of his blues
guitar playing with a very danceable reggae beat.
Sistah Shan, best known for her song Cool Ruler, which she performed with
Hawaiian Time,
sings Silent Night - adding a beautiful touch to an all-time favorite Christmas
song.
The First Noel is performed by award-winning composer and arranger Riki
L – known
for producing such acts as Norm, Justin, Reality, Ka’ala boys, Jamin
Wong and other groups.
Little Drummer Boy and He’s Got the Whole World in His Hands - is sung
by Isis, the
bandleader of THC. Isis also helped produce the music tracks on this compilation.
A young upcoming talent, Kaikua, sings Deck the Halls and Oh Come All Ye
Faithful.
We Three Kings is a Roots version of an old time seasonal tune, sung by
Butch Helemano, Isis and Kaikua.
