Product Description

Ohana Records presents, Our Ohana’s 1st Christmas, an eclectic collection of cherished
Christmas favorites and original tunes by some of our favorite island artists:

• The collection opens with Baba B sharing his cheerful, “cha-lang-ing” rendition of Winter Wonderland.

• The Opihi Pickers pay homage to Alvin and the Chipmunks with Christmas Don’t Be Late.

Pound 4 Pound features lead vocalist Shane Dudoit in their skankin’ original, A Big Hawaiian Christmas.

Zacc Kekona blends Reggae styling into his version of Silent Night.

Ike Pono’s medley of Mele Kalikimaka Ia Kakou and Mele Kalikimaka Ia Oe, brings freshness to these traditional favorites.

• Look out for Vaihi’s fun rendition of The First Noel can only be pulled off with the Vaihi style.

Stacie’s original Christmas Joy adds pop styling to our collection.

Merry Christmas with a touch of jazz by Na Hoku Hanohano winner Weldon Kekauoha and Tapa Groove.

Na Kama’s Christmas in the Islands adds their beautiful harmony to an original song by Randie Fong.

• The charming voices of Na Pua Lei Hua (St. Andrew’s Priory’s Elementary Choir) sing
Ed Kenney’s hapa-haole version of My Favorite Things, from the movie Sound of Music.

Kawaiolaonapukanileo, rounds out the album with Hawaii’s premier a cappella ensemble performing
a beautiful medley of the Little Drummer Boy/Iesu Ka Ho’ola also written and arranged by Randie Fong.
