Product Description
From the mega hit Missing You by Lukie D, that’s blazing through the 808 State, to the rough cut Overcome by
Shirnel Enos,
that’s gaining popularity via myspace.com, this is a must have compilation CD. ONE Fearless Hawaiian
is the first compilation CD from Fearless Hawaiian Enterprises’ music dept. and maps the journey of this
Fearless Hawaiian’s ride through Island Music history. ONE Fearless Hawaiian features hits by well-known
artists
like Sudden Rush, Kekai Boyz, J. Moki Cho, Pana`ewa, and Mr. Tripp, who are all
intricate players in this pursuit of a legacy.
Island classics that grace ONE Fearless Hawaiian, I Remember, Run and Paradise Found by Sudden Rush - the
originators of Hawaiian Rap music and true pioneers in Hawaiian Culture; One Night Stand, Just An Illusion, I Want You
To Know from Keaukaha’s Finest, the Kekai Boyz...throw in their Heart & Soul, for flavor, along with Empty
and Jungle Of Life, which calls to attention issues that we need to address. Then you add Bare Balls by J. Moki Cho,
as a dedication to the friends and family of Mark K. Makizuru, and a smile for good ole’ times. Don’t Wanna
Be A Player, by Mr. Tripp, it’s a slamming song that went unnoticed...probably
one
of the
hottest
Island R & B tracks that ever flew from Way Out West! Fallen by Pana`ewa, the ever so smooth,
chameleon like, Dynomite, solidifies his ground as the one who flows.
Destined to leave a mark and fill the void for hot female solo vocalists in Hawai`i, ONE Fearless Hawaiian introduces newcomer Shirnel Enos. Overcome, an acoustic version of her original song, gives us a preview of her vocals and a taste of her very mature writing skills.
Lukie D, a Reggae Super Star, made his Hawai’i debut in April at Fearless Fess 2007, performing only in Hilo. During the 4 days Lukie D was on the Big Island, he was so moved by the genuine aloha that was shown to him, he penned the track Take Me Home in the first 2 days in Hawai’i. Lukie D practiced it once with the band and performed it at the show.
Missing You may be new to Hawai’i, but this song has been heard through the radio airwaves and the Internet for quite some time. Unfortunately this song hasn’t been available due to it being out of print. However, because of the increasing demand and popularity – Missing You is re-born and NOW available for all.
Plans are set to bring Lukie D back to the Islands this fall to include appearances on Oahu, Maui and back to the Big Island. His live performances and humility has made it even more pleasurable to bridge this newfound relationship.
BE SURE TO GET YOUR COPY OF ONE FEARLESS HAWAIIAN ON AUGUST 7, 2007!
