Product Description
Thick Tubes had a humble beginning in the late 1990's
as a cover band. After several
lineup changes, the band released its debut CD, Thick Who?,
in March 2001. The band
successfully promoted their CD while receiving airplay in Honolulu with
the Led Zeppelin
remake, "D'yer Maker." This release held the
#1 spot on FM98.5's Hot 8 at 8. In addition,
their original music received extensive radio play on Kauai, Maui and the
Big Island.
Thick Tubes fans from Honolulu to Maui to California and
as far away as New York City
and Spain have asked for the long-awaited follow-up CD with 15 original
tracks. In the meantime,
listeners can hear Thick Tubes music on television (OC16),
the radio, independent films,
and on various t.v./radio commercials.
Thick Tubes always looks forward to the next show when
they can put forward positive
music with a positive vibe; their fans dancing and having a good time with
friends. The only question
left to ask is, Tubie or not tubie?.
Thick Tubes is:
Denny Ono, lead vocals
Ulu Scanlan, rhythm guitar & vocals
Darin Au, lead guitar
Jane Aromin, keyboards & vocals
Steve Brady, bass
Dave Gonzalez, drums
Pat Samsonas, soul grunts & vocals
