Product Description
TEOMON moved to the Big Island of Hawai'i as a small child with his single
mother and two younger brothers in 1981. He was introduced to reggae music
at a young age through his family and close friends. His passion in singing
and
spreading positive philosophy has grown ever since. Moving to Maui as a
teenager,
TEOMON met reggae performer Marty Dread who gave him his first opportunity
to be in a live reggae band.
After graduating high school in 1989, TEOMON moved to Kauai and met
Ron Rhodes the leader of the band The Shakers. Forming a strong bond with
both Ron & Ronnie Rhodes, TEOMON performed live with The Shakers as
a
"reggae-rapper" for ten years. They performed many memorable shows
together
as well as recording two CD's, "Strictly Pleasure" featuring the
local hit "Who's going
to hold you tonight?" and "Good Days Ahead" where TEOMON
wrote the title track.
TEOMON now resides on Maui and is about to release his debut album "The
Choice we make" recorded at the Koloa Dub Lab, on Kauai. The album
features
thirteen original tracks that express his deep values of life, love, and
family. TEOMON
has a dedicated fan base; some who have stated that TEOMON's music has touched
them deeply and inspired them in their lives. " Congratulations, you
know I like very
much your music so please tell me everything about it. I enjoy your CD and
I listen to it
frequently, your music makes me feel very good and when I´m sad it
makes me happy,"
Astrid - Mexico. TEOMON has been spreading his philosophy by recently traveling
to
Europe and performing live shows in Norway, Holland, Sweden, Italy, and
the U.K.
TEOMON performs regularly on Maui and is presently creating opportunities
to
perform around the rest of the "Aloha State" and wherever his
fans may take him.
TEOMON is a dedicated artist, with a positive message deeply rooted in
his music.
He is looking for the right connections and sponsors to take him to the
next level,
making it possible to have his music heard on a wider scope, as well as
recording
more albums in the near future.
