Product Description
A collection of 10 original compositions by a sensational,
fresh talent from Pakala, Kaua'i.
Born and raised on the West side of beautiful Kaua'i, Stacie grew up in
one of the oldest
sugar plantations on the island, known as Pakala. There she was nurtured
in the traditional
Hawaiian ways...love for the 'aina, respect for her kupuna and ohana. She
now resides on the
island of Oahu. Stacie earned her B.A. in Psychology at Chaminade University
and currently
works with adolescences. She is employed at one of Oahu's public high schools
as a respected
counselor. Stacie's dynamic and versatile style is a mixture of Contemporary/Pop
and Island Reggae.
Stacie's soothing, yet tantalizing, voice will take you on a journey through
Lifes everyday
challenges: love, happiness, sorrow and pain. Songs such as "Meant
for Me," where Stacie
sings of a love so deeply etched in the very heart and soul. "Meant
for Me" speaks of a love that
one has so deeply for another, and where there is no other, but that one
true love.
Stacie also touches the broken spirit with the deep and haunting song entitled
"Why Do I." This
song is a message to those who are faced with self-doubt, and speaks of
the challenges and
disappointments we are faced with in our daily lives. Stacie tells us through
song that no
one else but "you" can make that positive change in your life.
And, though we may be faced
with rejection, failure, loss and pain, we can rise above it through the
strength of our positive
inner being, and by reaching deep within ourselves to make it through.
A third song entitled "That Feelin," is Stacie's tribute
to all local boys across the Hawaiian Islands.
Stacie's seductive voice speaks of how that one special local boy makes
her feel good and perfect inside!
A ballad entitled "Come to Me" surrenders all emotions of a torn
heart for a lost love. "Come to Me speaks of one's desperate
need to win back a love that has gone astray. Stacie's dynamic voice and
range will reveal her warmth, deep emotions and strength of her sensational
pipes that is her vivid trademark. She will make you feel her deepest emotions
through her passionate repertoire and style of singing.
