Product Description
Born & raised in Hilo, Hawaii, Rupert Tripp Jr. learned
at an early age to sing & play music.
While attending the Kamehameha Schools, he would participate in various
school events
that involved singing, dancing, or playing a musical instrument. As a Junior,
Rupert was selected
song leader in Kamehameha’s Annual Song Contest, an honor bestowed
by his peers.
After graduation in 1980, Rupert enlisted in the Air Force. While in service,
he pursued his
musical aspirations with several musical groups - performing in NCO clubs,
in addition to
participating in talent contests throughout the United States.
Today, Rupert continues his musical journey with a renewed sense of meaning
and purpose –
giving thanks, praise and glory to God – with his debut album, “For
An Audience Of One.”
This release is a testimony of what Jesus means to him and how he has completely
changed Rupert’s
life. It was recorded with one guitar, one voice, and with one in mind,
JESUS CHRIST!
Music has always played a major role in Rupert’s life, from singing
and playing the drums
in a family band at the age of 9, to becoming a lead singer and guitarist
for the popular group,
NALU! God has blessed Rupert with the gift of music and now he wants to
share this gift
