Product Description

In the world of Hawaiian reggae, there are only a handful of artists who make a lasting impression on the
thousands of loyal island music fans, both here in Hawaii and abroad. We hope to add a new name to this list
of elite performers with the release of Pride Rhythm's Reggae's Rockers.

Pride Rhythm, hailing from the Windward side of Oahu, formed in the summer of 2003. They have been
performing primarily on the Windward side - from Hau'ula to Kane'ohe, where they have developed quite
a following. The band consists of: Josh Aipoalani (drums), Ben Sandabol (Bass), Victor Valente (Guitar),
Novite Waiolama (Keyboards), T.J. Plunket (Ukulele), Brandon Weeks (vocals, backround vocals), and Edson
Parubrub (lead vocals). With their high energy and intoxicating sound, Pride Rhythm is ready to bring their brew
of original music to the rest of the world. Positive messages and themes are unmistakable in many of their songs.
For example, "Hard Times and Fly Away" express the hardships of surviving in Hawaii but that anything is possible
through education and perseverance. Borne from grief due to a tragic incident that took place while recording this CD,
Jordan's Song reflects on the value of life and the inevitable harsh realities that come with it, yet offers hope to all
who have lost loved ones. Other songs that are destined to become favorites are "Irie Mob" and "So Many Girls".
Don't be surprise to find yourself inspired to move and feel "irie" when listening to these tunes.

From humble beginnings in a garage, to sharing the stage with such notables as Big Mountain, Ooklah the Moc,
and Natural Vibrations, the young band members of Pride Rhythm have proven their deeply-rooted commitment
to their music, to each other, and to their dream. As a result, Reggae's Rockers emerged as a juicy fruit of their labor.

So, experience the taste of Pride Rhythm's unique musical twist and flavor, and feel the satisfying fullness
of its international sound and appeal.
