MELEALOHA, the name says it all, "Blessed Love of Music."

This Na Hoku Hanohano award winner and former Miss Hawaii-Island has been singing
since the age of 3, starting with her father, Lloyd Longakit, and gaining fame in her teens
as half of the brother-sister duo, Pomai & Loeka.

Pomaika'i, a native of Pana'ewa on the Big Island is grown up now, her rich, sweet,
melodious voice shines brightly on this 5 song CD sampler. When asked why she released
a single before her full-length debut, she simply said, "I just couldn't wait."

She has also matured into a fine songwriter, having penned two of the selections herself:
"Island by the Sea," and "Only in Hawaii Nei," two songs previously recorded with Loeka,
"At Manele," written by Lloyd Longakit and "Wahine Alala," composed by Kihei Nahale'a
of the trio Kahikina. The fifth song is the classic, "He Aloha Ku'u Ipo," a childhood favorite
composed by the legendary Hawaiian scholar, Mary Kawena Puku'i. This song features
Sonny Lim of the infamous Lim Family on rhythm guitar, acoustic up right and ukulele.

Pomaika'i, will release her first full length solo debut album in 2006.
