Product Description

It is no secret that the Opihi Pickers are one of the hardest working music groups in Hawaii.
The past few years have taken them everywhere, performing for tens of thousands of people
at functions from backyard parties to some of the biggest concert events in the state.

During that time the group released their third CD, “All for You”, had an early recording
featured on the “Legends of the Ukulele - Hawaiian Masters CD”, had two of their music
videos featured on the “Overdrive Live DVD Vol.1” and had their hit song “Old Fashion' Touch”
as part of the Hawaii's Karaoke Hits Vol.1 DVD.  We also saw group leader/ukulele virtuoso
Imua Garza release his debut solo effort, “Dreamspeaking”, to rave reviews.

“Together as One” is a summing up of the unity the group has found amongst themselves, their
families, their music and their fans.  The title track is a dramatic, reggae-powered number that
expresses the need to work toward a common positive goal.

The classic Opihi Pickers sound is found on "Our Love is Divine," "I Found a Love" and "Think Twice",
songs with melodies that roll off your tongue and ukulele lines that put a smile on your face.

Family is represented on the reflective "Proud Grandson," performed in a slack-key style punctuated
with colorful steel guitar, and the mid-tempo "Let's Call it a Day," a heartfelt tune written for young
cousin Tawehi.

On the lighter side, Opihi Pickers acknowledge the past with a lively remake of "Waikiki Chickadee"
which comes complete with a kazoo solo.

The bond between the guys is stronger than ever with Imua, Hoku, Kahale and Kevin entering
their fifth year of performing together.  Their drummers, Shawn Ishimoto (studio) and Luke Daddario (live)
are also an integral part of their musical family.

The future burns bright for these young men and as long as there is an audience looking
to be entertained they will remain together as one.
