Hawai`i Island songwriter & slack key guitarist John Keawe has released another
all original CD entitled Hawai`i Island ...Is My Home.  Eight instrumentals and five
vocal compositions comprise this latest endeavor.

The title cut “Hawai`i Island… Is My Home” (vocal) exemplifies John¹s true love
for the island of Hawai`i. Other vocal compositions include, “O Kakou Ka Po`e”
(we the people), “Across The Way”, “Just Like An Angel”, and “Ku`u Hoaaloha”,
a farewell to his lifelong friend, Wayne Francisco.

The eight instrumentals are in various tunings as well as stylings. “Faces of Pele”
takes you on the ever-present journey of Pele.  “Steal The Morning”, captures the
splendor of the early morning.  “Guitarra” in honor of the vaqueros (spanish cowboys)
and a little humor in a song called “Auwe Manakuke” (the mongoose).

This 9th CD release by Keawe reveals his deep love, understanding
and honest appreciation of his surroundings.
