Product Description

Jason Arnold, aka J Bird has known tragedy & struggles since birth. Born under
an alias name, J's biological parents were apprehended on Maui on drug trafficking
charges shortly after his birth. He was later released by CPS to the custody of his aunt
who, in turn, gave J to her mother-in-law. J Bird's now mother & mother's boyfriend
raised him in La Mirada, California. Soon after J's parents split, he became affiliated
with gangs, drugs, and auto theft. This fast lifestyle came at the price of many of J's
closest friends who hadn't even reached 18 before they were killed. J himself has been
shot at, jumped, and forced to fight for survival on a daily basis.

The hardest struggle J faced was at the age of 15 with the death of his brother. Still to
this day he has yet to fully recover. Soon after his passing, J began smuggling drugs from
state to state which eventually led to his arrest in Honolulu, HI. J pleaded guilty to 1st, 2nd,
3rd degree counts of promoting a dangerous drug. Incarcerated at age 18, J Bird would
eventually grew from a boy to become a man.

Upon his release in 2001, J has made many efforts to better himself. One major
achievement was the signing with Tiki Entertainment. Headed by Samson "Spookahuna"
Malani, Tiki's reputation as "Hawaii's Biggest and Baddest Record Label" provided
J the inspiration to create his own label, 5150. (Fifty one fifty / 5150 which is the
California penal code for criminally insane.) His album entitled My Life is currently being
sold in Hawaii and California.

With artists like KrioGenik, formerly signed to Tiki Entertainment, and himself, 5150 will
no doubt be successful in their quest to control the local rap game. Still sporting his L.A.
gang attire, J considers himself a tribute to hard work, dedication, and success no matter how
bad the odds are. You can find his album locally on Sat & Sun along with Tiki Entertainment CDs
at Aloha Stadium swap meets, Ohana Stop & Shop in Kaneohe, various Tower Record
locations, or log onto www.tikientertainment.com.
