Product Description

Long-time Opihi Picker virtuoso Imua Garza and former Next Generation
singer Kamu Sing have been friends ever since they met in the 7th grade at
Kamehameha Schools. In high school they often spent much of their free time
together in one of the schools music rooms sitting around a piano singing songs
and developing their musical skills.

Both young men went on to find success on the local music scene. Imua founded
and continues to be the leader of the Opihi Pickers, one of Hawaii's favorite island
music groups, and Kamu performed with The Next Generation, one of Hawaii's
most popular up-and-coming young music groups.

One day Imua and Kamu found themselves once again sitting in front of a piano.
That day they would compose a song called Harmony City, a song that would
become the catalyst for them to record an entire project together. It was decided early
on that it would be a semi-conceptual project that would take place in a fictional town
called Harmony City, a place of accord where people looked after and cared for one
another. The songs they would compose for the project would reflect the feelings and
emotions of some of the people who lived there.

From the gritty opening chords of the title track to the thunderstorm fade-out of
Look Above, Harmony City is a twelve-song voyage of hope, support, community,
encouragement, inspiration and love songs with a positive message to provide comfort
in what can sometimes be an uncertain world.

Every person has the power to change someone's life for the better. Imua and Kamu
are pretty certain that if you look hard enough you are sure to find a little bit of
Harmony City where you live.
