Product Description

KOTOTAMA PRODUCTIONS is proud to present the CD release of the popular female
acoustic folk collective THE GIRLAS! THE GIRLAS are Tiffa Cruz, Carly Smith, Candy Diaz, Kelli Heath,
Anela Choy, and Connie Cruz. Each accomplished singer/songwriters and multi-instrumentalists have combined
their artistic efforts on this beautiful album. With the release of Now or Never, THE GIRLAS will establish themselves
as individual artists and a collective in Hawaii and beyond.

With the assistance and support of Kototama Productions and John Vierra of Studio JAV everything from
the songs, to the website, to the album cover were crafted under the leadership of THE GIRLAS to maintain
artistic integrity and a true hands-on experience for these budding artists.

Now or Never is comprised of 12 original songs written by members and produced by Kelli Heath of
Kototama Productions. Kelli is also a vocalist and lead guitarist; Tiffa Cruz, daughter of Ernie Cruz Sr.,
lends her sweet vocals and soaring harmonies; Carly Smith, who is the daughter of renowned bluegrass
musician, Ty Smith, also the cousin of Tiffa Cruz, lends her voice and guitar picking; Candy Diaz sings
lead as well harmony; Anela Choy provided a composition, the photography for the album's cover and plays bass
for performances; Connie Cruz, also the daughter of Ernie Cruz Sr., has contributed 3 beautiful compositions.
Each song represents each GIRLA's style and influences in and outside of Hawaii, ranging from Folk, Blues,
Bluegrass, Jazz, Gospel to Slack Key.

THE GIRLAS are "fearless songwriters and they are entirely collaborative when it comes to making a song work...
their lyrical content is poignant rather than preachy, their instrumental prowess is informed rather than
forced and their harmonies inspired"
