Product Description

Find a Hawaiian name for baby, get a gift for aunties' baby shower, help baby sleep, and help lower tutus blood pressure -
all at the same time with this new CD: Hawaiian Style Lullabies.

Hawaiian Style Lullabies‚ is the 2nd lullaby CD from The Friends of Aloha; the award-winning music group committed
to offering positive family-oriented music.  Their first CD, The Hawaiian Islands Lullaby Collection, featured lullabies
from 16 cultures in Hawaii.  The overwhelming response to the CD was, "We loved it, especially the Hawaiian lullaby,
next we want a CD that is ALL Hawaiian."  "That's why we had to do Hawaiian Style Lullabies,"
smiled Kalani, whose slack key artistry is featured on the CD.

The CD was released in Japan earlier this year and amazed everyone when it rose into the TOP 50
of Japan Amazon’s Bestseller List. The CD will be released in Hawaii November 20th.

Slack key guitar, ukulele and steel guitar blend with tranquil nature sounds on local Hawaiian favorites like‚
"God Bless My Daddy‚" "E Mama E‚"  "Pupu Hinu Hinu‚" and "Kahuli Aku."  In addition, timeless masterpieces
of celebrated classical composers, like Brahms, Mozart, and Pachelbel are done in the same Hawaiian Style.  Two
original tunes‚ "E Ala‚" and "Slack Key By The Sea‚" are also included.

Why the Classical pieces? Studies have shown they improve intelligence, creativity and learning as well as
soothe and relax. "We truly believe these pieces sound better in Hawaiian Style than in the traditional western
style. Take a listen and I think you'll agree," said Kalani.  "They are not only for keiki to sleep, but for
anyone looking to relax and enjoy soothing island style music."

The arrangements utilize music therapy techniques such as Tempo Mapping (slowing down the song
incrementally over time), which lowers blood pressure and heart rate.

Also white noise from natural sources like ocean waves gently rolling ashore, island rain, and waterfalls.
Two songs feature the sound of a mother’s heartbeat, adding a soft rhythm to the music and making baby
feel warm, safe and peaceful before to drifting off to dreamland.

Parents-to-be will be glad the package also includes a 12 panel foldout with over 600 Hawaiian baby names
and an article about the importance of name selection in Hawaiian Culture.

Hawaiian Style Lullabies is recommended for everyone - from newborn to ninety.
