9) My 9th Island Paniolo Ranch
Danny was born on the island of Oahu and graduated from Castle High school.
was a drummer in a band before his vocal talents were recognized. After High school,
Danny migrated to Hana Maui where he started his new band, "Hana's Own". Danny played
a variety of music on the Hawaiian Islands for over 25 years. He moved to Las Vegas in 1996
and started a new band, going under his name, "Danny Estocado".
In his early years, Danny was influenced to play music by singers such
as Gabby Pahinui,
Sonny Chillingworth, Tom Jones, and Merle Haggard. Danny continues to bring a variety
of music from Hawaiian to Country to Rock-N-Roll to the Las Vegas industry. He continues
to fly back to the Hawaiian Islands several times per year to perform for special events.
This is Danny's 6th CD release. His CD "Greatest Hits and Then Some"
Album of the Year 2001, in Hawaii. In this latest CD he wrote an original song about a
native Hawaiian leaving his homeland to pursue a dream on what is now know as the "9th
Island of Las Vegas". The song Danny wrote, "My 9th Island Paniolo Ranch" is an upbeat
song about a dream come true as Danny sits on his 5 acres ranch that he owns, a dream
that he could not pursue at home in Hawaii. Famous Hawaiian artist, Richard Ho'opi'i is a
guest vocalist on this CD. Richard brings an aloha spirit to the project as he shares his talented
voice. This CD will appeal to all age groups with it's amazing versatility in styles of music
comprised of it's 16 songs on this CD.
