The seed, the dream, was planted during high school by Joshua Garan, Josh Yafuso,
and Daven Yamada, high school buddies, who shared a passion for music at Moanalua.
They spent summers at the beach honing their musical skills. These jam sessions watered
the seed that spawned Epic Session.

Their first album One The Rise was released in 2002. That album helped them grow
musically and as a band. It was a stepping-stone in their musical career. For the next
three years they performed steadily at various venues and private gigs. That experience
gave them an appreciation of the hard work involved in the music business. It was during
these years that they wrote the material for Leave Your Baggage Behind.

Epic Session stands five strong with Josh Yafuso and Joshua Garan as the founders,
Jonathan Gormon, Devin Takuma and Alex Tomita complete the line up, adding
to the diverse style that is Epic Session.

Leave Your Baggage Behind consists of 12 tracks with 11 original compositions, is
Epic Session's sophomore effort. This album is an eclectic mix of music and lyrics that
make the Epic Session sound. It's a unique blend of Rock, Funk, Ska and R&B.
